pipes of gold


Cocker Lane in the city has been gold leafed.
Well the pipes have. All the way to the top.
Nice work Bianca Faye and Tim Spicer.
I like a bit of impermanent art.
We can watch it disappear over the next year.

    And such a stinkybum old lane, too, that one.

    Smoked many a fag in there, over the years, waiting for the freight elevator to decide to work.

    It's like an old, smelly friend.

    Lovely eh. I have been meaning to blog about these since I got back, but you beat me to it.
    We always called it rat alley but it's been lifted to greater heights...
